PCOS – Maybe?

PCOS BlogMaybe you haven’t officially been diagnosed with PCOS yet, but you’ve done some research and all your symptoms add up to an imbalance in hormones. Perhaps you’ve noticed that your periods are irregular, you’re gaining weight (or having trouble losing it), and you’re having more breakouts than usual. You may have also become aware of dark patches of skin on the back of your neck.

Teens and young women with PCOS commonly have one or more of these signs, but there can be other reasons for their appearance. If you’re curious, why not take our PCOS quiz. Remember though, only your health care provider can tell if you have PCOS for sure, so it’s a good idea to make an appointment and get checked out.
