Hey there!

I’m Lamisa and I’m super delighted to be one of the new peer leaders here at the Center for Young Women’s Health at Boston Children’s Hospital! I am currently a sophomore, an athlete, and a leader of the Henna Club at Cambridge Rindge and Latin School.

I was interested in applying for this position when I heard about it through Breakthrough Greater Boston, a college readiness progress I am involved in. When I saw “looking for a leader interested in the medical field” I knew the flyer was shouting my name. I applied and went to my interview, with butterflies kicking my stomach. But looking back, it was definitely worth it because here I am introducing myself as your new peer leader!

I hope I can become better informed about the medical field and share my wonderful experience with you all!
