Hello everyone! My name is Alexis and I’m from Boston, MA. I am 17 years old and a rising senior in high school, where I enjoy my favorite classes, Biology and Math. I also enjoy my club, Letters to Soldiers, where I help make cards and letters and deliver them to local veteran centers. After high school, I’m thinking of pursuing a career in the medical field as I enjoy working with and helping others. I often spend my free time hanging out with my friends, hiking with my dog, Bella, and exploring Boston.

I’m so excited to begin my journey as a peer leader here at Boston Children’s! I decided to work here because of all the wonderful things I’ve heard from my peers who truly believe they are helping doctors strengthen their communication skills. I think it is super important for teenagers to have a voice, and be able to help improve the relationships between doctors and their patients. Stay tuned for more from me on TeenSpeak!
