Hi everyone! My name is Kaitlyn and I’m from Boston, MA. I’m 17 years old and a junior in high school. English is my favorite class, because I’ve always loved writing. I’m on my school’s cheerleading team and am also an active member of the Premedical Society Club. Outside of school, I love hanging out with my friends, spending time with my dog, and watching Netflix. Last summer, I was able to work at the Veterans Affairs Hospital, where I was able to learn a lot about the medical field. It made me realize that after high school, I want to pursue a career in nursing.

I’m so happy to be working as a peer leader at Boston Children’s Hospital, because youth perspectives can bring a lot to BCH. I can’t wait to gain more experience working in the medical field, and to be able to contribute to BCH. I look forward to sharing my ideas and experiences with you. Thanks for reading!
