Hey guys, is it just me or does it still feel like winter outside? Spring officially started over a week ago, but here in Boston, it still feels cold. I’m sure everyone up north is sick of the cold and is anxiously waiting for the temperature to start hitting the 70’s (or even better – the 80’s).

As long as I’ve lived here there’s been lots of talk about the weather in Boston. When it’s cold people tend to complain the most, and when it’s hot people still complain. There’s no pleasing everyone! Personally, I prefer when it’s warm outside because I get to wear more comfortable clothing, hang out with friends, and go to the beach and relax. Warm weather is also a reminder that summer is near, when people get to go on vacation and students get ready to start their first semester in college.

For high school students it’s a time of pure joy and excitement; of summer vacation and NO school! Summertime also allows teenagers like myself to work and make some money over the summer. The temperature has plenty to do with how some people occupy their time, and as for me, summer needs to hurry up and get here!
