Introducing Kiana!

kianaHey! My name is Kiana and I’m so excited to finally be calling myself a senior in high school. The health field has always interested me and most recently I have become more interested in nutrition and healthy meal choices that will support my body. Everyone who knows me understands my deep love for singing and fitness in order to de-stress myself and have a nice balance in life. I have been in chorus since freshmen year and it is truly a passion of mine. I’ve been consistently attending the gym since the start of sophomore year and I love it! I am the youngest of four siblings alongside my three older brothers. I’m blessed to say that I share a household with role models who are continuously guiding me through the few bumps in the road. Communication is key and family will always come first.

At the end of junior year I received an email from my school’s PIC office about the peer leadership position. Reading through the job description I knew that I needed to apply. Working at Boston Children’s Hospital had always been a dream of mine just because of the powerful impact that the hospital has on the lives of others. I look forward to growing a close bond with not only my fellow peer leaders but everyone around me because that’s the sense of community that the hospital environment gives off to me. To the beginning of an awesome experience, follow up on my future blogs!
