Hey!

My name is Dulce and I am a junior in high school.  I am extremely excited to be a peer leader here at Boston Children’s Hospital. I am very friendly and I enjoy making friends, so don’t be afraid to say hi! I am interested in pursuing a career in the medical field because I want to be able to help those in need. I want to be able to provide people, especially young adults, with necessary attention and information.

I decided to become a peer leader because I wanted to improve communication between potential adolescent patients and their doctors. I also hope to gain more knowledge on pressing medical issues that are currently happening and to spread more knowledge to my friends.

During my free time, I hang out with friends, volunteer and spend time with family. I love trying new food, so if you know a good place let me know! I volunteer at an after school tutoring place where I used to be tutored. I have 2 younger siblings, one is 7 and the other one is 11 months old. I am excited to share more of my experiences on TeenSpeak!
