Introducing Tess!
Hi! My name is Tess and I’m thrilled to be interning at the Center for Young Women’s Health this January. I’m currently a freshman at Oberlin College, where I plan to double major in biology and gender studies. I ultimately hope to get my MD and work in adolescent endocrinology. When I’m not busy with classes I enjoy horseback riding, making pottery, and running.
I first discovered the CYWH when I attended the Endometriosis Conference they held in 2014. I was awed by the abundance of knowledge and support the Center had to offer. In my time here I hope I will be able to inspire young girls to take an active interest in their bodies and well-being, as well as extend as much information as possible to the young women and families who struggle with endometriosis.
