Introducing Kerrin
Hey everyone, my name is Kerrin. I am one of the new youth advisors at the Center for Young Women’s Health (CYWH). In most ways I am a typical teenager. I love to shop, talk, and spend quality time with my loved ones. I am unique because I am extroverted and vivacious and I really enjoy working with people.
I found out about the opportunity to become a youth advisor through a job posting at my high school. After I read the flyer, I didn’t hesitate to contact Adrianne at the CYWH and express my interest. I was very excited, because it wasn’t just an opportunity for me to work, it was an opportunity to gain experience in helping others, which is something I love to do.
After I graduate from high school, I have high hopes of going to college and majoring in social work. My overall goal has and will always be to help better the lives of others, and being a part of the CYWH is the perfect way to do this. Although I have only been here for a month, I can already tell that my time here will be well spent and very much enjoyed. I hope that being a part of the CYWH will not only prepare me for my future endeavors, but also help make me become a better person.
