Hello readers! We thought that since you’re reading our blog, you might be curious as to where we’re blogging from, so here it is, welcome to our home away from home – the CYWH Resource Center! We’ve got a very colorful, cozy little spot located right off the Adolescent Medicine clinic at Children’s Hospital. The beautiful, beach themed wall mural that was painted down our hallway always attracts lots of visitors.

Now for the inside view…When you first come in, you’ll see our giant bulletin board (with postings about local events, job opportunities, etc.) and a whole wall full of health pamphlets. We’ve also got our own lending library full of books on all kinds of health issues, from college health, to breast health, nutrition, and more.

Here’s a better look into the Center – there are binders full of health information, magazines to read, and computers with internet access. Patients are welcome to come in before or after their appointments to hang out, do some research on a health topic, poke around our website, or read a book or magazine. Check out our fabulous youth advisor Dennisse, hard at work on the computer!

If you’re in the Boston area, feel free to come swing by the center and say hello! We’re open Monday through Friday from 10:00am to 5:00pm.
