Keeping School Stamina
It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Spending time with family, enjoying the winter activities, and spring is just around the corner. This time of year brings about one major issue though–procrastination. Staying motivated in school during the winter can be really hard, so here are some tips to get you through the season!
Make yourself a schedule
Develop your time management skills and make yourself a crafty schedule. Use bright colors and a neat planner to keep motivated to stay on track. Stay up to date with marking your calendar with important events, assignments, or deadlines to be as organized as possible.
Take up a hobby
Going to school then back home every day can be a bit tedious, so to keep your spirits up join an extracurricular! Get involved in the school play or join that club you’ve been interested in. Studies show that participating in an after school activity helps to boost productivity.
Switch things up
It can be difficult to resist the urge to hop in your bed after a long day. Once we lay down in bed, our eyes get droopy and it becomes almost impossible to finish homework at a decent time. Avoid this problem by switching things up. Instead of lying in bed, try out the dining room table to do homework on, or even your quiet local library.
