Introducing Mirtula!

mirtula croppedHi! My name is Mirtula and I am so excited to be a new member of the team at the Center for Young Women’s Health at Boston Children’s Hospital. I attend Boston University where I am currently studying Health Science and minoring in Public Health. My future goals include getting my MPH and focusing on International Health and ultimately going to medical school. I love to travel and have been to quite a few places, including the Mediterranean, Eastern Europe, and the Caribbean; I am fascinated by different cultures and traditions and hope to see as much of the world as I can before I start my career.

I am thrilled that I am able to be a part of such a great community at the Center; the work they do and the information and guidance they provide to teens and young women alike is invaluable. As an intern I hope to bring a lot to the table, through both my experiences and my general insight as a young woman trying to navigate the world. My hope is that I can make a difference here, by providing you with some guidance and knowledge that I have gained along the way.
